You Can’t Put a Price on Peace
Sitting here on my deck listening to the birds chirp, hearing the wind blow through the leave on the trees, I am overcome with such a sense of peace, such a fulfillment in my soul.
I like to take the time everyday to just sit and absorb it all. I find that when I still myself, when I am not in a rush, I have a better day. I have a better perspective. If I am unable to in the morning, I make a point of winding down the night on my linai. I find that gratitude is key.
Finding the good. Seeking truth and not lies. Accepting every part of the day, even the things that were challenging for me. Effort and ease. Life is about putting forward both effort and then finding the ease to enjoy.
It’s so easy at times for our vision to get cloudy. To become overwhelmed with the negative. But we can’t. WE have to continue hoping. Continue living. Continue Loving. Continue trying. The most important thing to do- the most human- is dare to believe beyond our circumstances, beyond our disappointments, beyond our disasters.
